Christmas Eve - December 24
On the eve of Christmas museums in Florence are usually open but only for shorter hours.

Christmas Day - December 25
All museums in Florence are closed on Christmas day except the Palazzo Strozzi and Palazzo Medici Riccardi.

As the city of Florence is the historical center of Italy, people can take advantage of this day to explore the historical centers which includes the Piazza San Lorenzo, Piazza del Duomo, Piazza della Signoria, Ponte Vecchio, Piazzale Michelangelo and many others.
